Saving Money During The Holidays

The holidays and spending money go hand in hand. This holiday I will try and save some of that money by being a smarter consumer. By shopping around for deals and useing the internet to do some copmparative online shopping, I will be able to assess the lowest or most reasonable prices for my holiday budget. This holiday I'm hoping to be able to budget my gift money out to spread more love throughout my family. The more money, the more gifts, the more gifts, the better the Christmas tree and Christmas day will be for everyone. So I'm hoping to stretch every penny I have this holiday.

My Hoiday

Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the next corner. This Christmas will be a great one because it falls on a Sunday so its on the weekend, no need to get up and go to school though, because school gets out on the 23rd of December and stays out until the 3rd of January. This Christmas I plan to possibly go to Big Bear after Christmas as a relaxing vacation. One thing is for sure I'm sure glad to get out of school for the holidays just like everyone else will be. Merry Christmas everybody, and a happy New Year.

Guided Imagery

Guided imagery is a very important means of expressing yourself in a way that makes everything positive. It can help you to envision what it is exactly you are looking for or pushing towards in life.
There is not really more than that to talk about on the subject of guided imagery, what is good thoughts is a good thing to think of.

The Last Book I Read. . . .

The last book I read, I can hardly remember reading. I don't read too many books, but when I do there is usually a very good reason for it, like a necessity or the information is manditory and I don't have any background knowledge of it. I know that books are important, but I do not read for recreation, only for the procreation of knowledge that I do not currently have any sense of. If I need to learn something, you would probably see me on the internet or observing someone else that can do the task that I cannot do so I can learn first hand by close observation what it is I would exactly need to know. It is a side effect of today's ever growing society and technological advances that books are slowly becoming an obsolete method of obtaining information. That is exactly why the last book I read I cannot seem to remember really well. For the fact is, books are being put on the chopping block for obsoletion because they are not sufficient enough at providing information quickly, readily, and steadily.

Lunch With A Famous Person

Lunch with a famous person would be a great experience, unfortuanately I don't see me having luch with a famous person anytime soon. I got really sick this thursday and it's still affecting me today and possibly for the rest of this week. If I could however have luch with a famous person it would be really nice to have luch with Jim Henson from the muppets. He is a very creative mind and it would be nice to have luch with him ( even though he is dead now) and be able to question him as to where exactly his creativity uproots from and how exactly it was that he was able to imagine all these cooky and strange characters that alot of us have grown to know and love even to today such as kermit the frog and animal, not to mention the younger childrens version of the muppets which everyone knows is seasame street with cooky characters shadowing the muppets creativity such as grover and cookie monster and the count. It is surely a great mind that Jim Henson had and that's why if I could have lunch with a famous person it would have to be him (even if it had to be his reanimated corpse. . . . . . . )

The Best Gift Ever

The best gift I ever got had to be a trip to Big Bear with my family. We went skiing and snowboarding, but I just sticked to snowboarding because it is way better to snowboard than it is to ski. Big Bear was alot of fun and sort of has become an around the holidays tradition for us. We go up there practically every year now around the same time and rent a cabin and go to the slopes for a week or weekend of fun and relaxation.

Sweatshops

Sweatshops are places where people work for far less than cheap labor and work constantly. They make various items including shirts and pants. The working conditions are far below standard and include its workers being mistreated and abused. They are usually located in the Asian parts of the world such as Thailand and China. They are horrible places, but the only thing positive about them is that they produce cloths at a very inexpensive cost to the manufacturers.
