Saving Money During The Holidays

The holidays and spending money go hand in hand. This holiday I will try and save some of that money by being a smarter consumer. By shopping around for deals and useing the internet to do some copmparative online shopping, I will be able to assess the lowest or most reasonable prices for my holiday budget. This holiday I'm hoping to be able to budget my gift money out to spread more love throughout my family. The more money, the more gifts, the more gifts, the better the Christmas tree and Christmas day will be for everyone. So I'm hoping to stretch every penny I have this holiday.

My Hoiday

Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the next corner. This Christmas will be a great one because it falls on a Sunday so its on the weekend, no need to get up and go to school though, because school gets out on the 23rd of December and stays out until the 3rd of January. This Christmas I plan to possibly go to Big Bear after Christmas as a relaxing vacation. One thing is for sure I'm sure glad to get out of school for the holidays just like everyone else will be. Merry Christmas everybody, and a happy New Year.

Guided Imagery

Guided imagery is a very important means of expressing yourself in a way that makes everything positive. It can help you to envision what it is exactly you are looking for or pushing towards in life.
There is not really more than that to talk about on the subject of guided imagery, what is good thoughts is a good thing to think of.

The Last Book I Read. . . .

The last book I read, I can hardly remember reading. I don't read too many books, but when I do there is usually a very good reason for it, like a necessity or the information is manditory and I don't have any background knowledge of it. I know that books are important, but I do not read for recreation, only for the procreation of knowledge that I do not currently have any sense of. If I need to learn something, you would probably see me on the internet or observing someone else that can do the task that I cannot do so I can learn first hand by close observation what it is I would exactly need to know. It is a side effect of today's ever growing society and technological advances that books are slowly becoming an obsolete method of obtaining information. That is exactly why the last book I read I cannot seem to remember really well. For the fact is, books are being put on the chopping block for obsoletion because they are not sufficient enough at providing information quickly, readily, and steadily.

Lunch With A Famous Person

Lunch with a famous person would be a great experience, unfortuanately I don't see me having luch with a famous person anytime soon. I got really sick this thursday and it's still affecting me today and possibly for the rest of this week. If I could however have luch with a famous person it would be really nice to have luch with Jim Henson from the muppets. He is a very creative mind and it would be nice to have luch with him ( even though he is dead now) and be able to question him as to where exactly his creativity uproots from and how exactly it was that he was able to imagine all these cooky and strange characters that alot of us have grown to know and love even to today such as kermit the frog and animal, not to mention the younger childrens version of the muppets which everyone knows is seasame street with cooky characters shadowing the muppets creativity such as grover and cookie monster and the count. It is surely a great mind that Jim Henson had and that's why if I could have lunch with a famous person it would have to be him (even if it had to be his reanimated corpse. . . . . . . )

The Best Gift Ever

The best gift I ever got had to be a trip to Big Bear with my family. We went skiing and snowboarding, but I just sticked to snowboarding because it is way better to snowboard than it is to ski. Big Bear was alot of fun and sort of has become an around the holidays tradition for us. We go up there practically every year now around the same time and rent a cabin and go to the slopes for a week or weekend of fun and relaxation.

Sweatshops

Sweatshops are places where people work for far less than cheap labor and work constantly. They make various items including shirts and pants. The working conditions are far below standard and include its workers being mistreated and abused. They are usually located in the Asian parts of the world such as Thailand and China. They are horrible places, but the only thing positive about them is that they produce cloths at a very inexpensive cost to the manufacturers.

My Hood

My hood is black. So far it's kept me warm in the morning cause it's been really cold in the morning. Otherwise, I live in Sand Diego in Linda Vista and its a very good neighborhood. It's pretty cool cause I've lived there all my life and I'm used to it. I like my house because it's where I've grown up all of my life and it's where all my favorite people live.

The Wrong First Impression

Like it or not everyone will come to the same fork in the road sooner or later. I'm talking about making your first impression on a person or a group of people. It's the law of human nature that everyone is an imperfect being, and so forth, everyone will sooner or later make a wrong impression on a person or a group of people the first time you meet them. The first time I made a wrong impression on a person when I meet them was probably at my first day of high school at Clairemont. Just like anybody, the first time you meet someone judgements are passed and impressions of you or that person are cemented in your mind. My first impreesion came off a little wrong my first day of high school, the first person I met probably thought that I was a horrible person at first. I wasn't too happy that day and was kind of in a different mindset, I know that I came off as a jerk, but later on I became really good friends with that person as we got to know each other better, and now we are still some of the best of friends today. First impressions are very important, so just make sure that you make them count for everything that they are. . . . . . .

Another Weekened, Another Pay Day

It's been another weekened and another payday for me. Kobey's Swap Meet is getting pretty packed, because Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is doing there shopping early, looking for all the deals. It's been pretty packed and it's getting bigger every weekened. I've been doing pretty good there but I can't wait until I get my second job working as a student worker at my new school. I'm going to be working graphic design in the studio behind my school and the job couldn't have came at a better time for me. It's been another great weekened and I'm really looking forward to my next one. Until then, have a great day and keep happy everyone.

The Get That Get's Me Up In The Morning

What's the get that gets you up in the morning? My "get" that gets me up in the morning has got to be the ultimate motivation, to learn more everyday and little by little gain the knowledge it takes to succeed in life. School has its ups and downs, but all in all in the end it is school that allows you to get the most out of life. School is the basic pillars of life, it teaches you the skills you will need to further yourself in life and get what you want out of it.

My Role Model

A role model is a hard thing to come by in life, or at least a good one. My role model in life has got to be my mom. She's a very nice person that knows what's right and what's wrong and always does things in a positive way. She also doesn't judge too much, so when I got caught selling and smoking weed she was disappointed at be but she never got mad or angry at me for messing up, because she is a person who believes in second chances and will be there for you when and if you need someone to be there for you. That's why my mom is the biggest and best role model in my life.

My Favorite Food

My favorite food of all time has gotta be pizza. Pizza is one of those foods that I could probably eat every day for the rest of my life and be completely content with it. It comes in so many shapes and sizes with so many different flavor combinations that you could never get bored of eating it. Some people call it Za, but I prefer to go the old fashioned way and call it pizza. It's the classic food that is as big a part of America as hot dogs, hamburgers, and apple pie. My favorite is the classic pepperoni, it's an all time classic that the whole family can enjoy to their hearts content. The cheese streches beautifully and the oil drips from the bottom, you always save the best for last, the crust. The crust is a little after treat that brings the satisfaction of the meal full circle. That's why pizza is my favorite food in the world hands down.

What's With The World Today?

You ever ask yourself what's with the world today? Doesn't it seem like we are all screwed over by a massive debt crisis that has lowered our deficit and threw everybody into a further spiraling down recession? Then it hit me, everyone is spending money that they do not have. It's not just citizens or communities either, it's entire populations and even the governments that control them. So why spend money that you don't even have? It's obvious to me that we are still in massive debts just from the wars that we have fought and have never paid back, then we go and borrow more money from other places and look where we are now, bottoms up in our own mess wondering how exactly we got there. We are where we are because of ourselves too, we need to stop blaming other people for our debt crisis and come to the realization that we used money we just didn't have and now we are paying the price. Everyone needs to learn how to manage money better, it's not the problem of money use just simply, further it is the problem of money use in improper and misused ways.

Vacation In Phonix Arizona

My vacation in Phonix Arizona was more than I could have hoped for. We had an excellent Thanksgiving with the whole family and even got to go to an amusement park called Castles and Coasters. My favorite part of Thanksgiving was getting to see my cousin Jeremy again. All in all I had a really great time with the family and even got to have alot of fun side adventures as well. The only thing that could have made my Thanksgiving alot better would have only been if I would have been able to extend the trip a little bit longer. Now that I'm back in San Diego again it's back to work and back to school for now, but hopefully I will be able to go up to Phonix again for Christmas to go snowboarding in the mountains and hang out with my favorite group of people again, my family.

We went to the farmer's market and then down to Old Town after running all around San Diego doing our every weekend things such as grocery shopping. All in all I had a great weekend and was able to get alot of things done that I desparately needed to get done. Great weekend, but this weekend should be alot better, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

RESPECT

Respect is a simple and highly revalent word in our society. It is the act of treating others fairly and respetfully based on the way you yourself would like to be treated. Respect is courtesy to your elders and superiors, it is the force that allows us to measure as human beings what exactly is expected of ourseves and others in all of society. Respect affects everyone and everyone has it, however, there are very differing levels of respect available throughout our society. The level of respect one has is completely individual, it is based on the lifestyle and the way people have been individually raised. On the same basis, respect is measured from the eye of the beholder, or the people you come in contact with in society. The way you act or are seen acting shows society what level of respect you hold for yourself and for others around you. To conclude, respect is the measure of how society rates you as a citizen of that society, and how you rate others from that same society.

How was it. . . .

The thanksgiving dinner was a great success, it was very good and very nourishing. I'm glad there are people here that would like to support us as  people.

Table Manners:

Table manners are a very important thing to learn, they teach you the ediquite of table manners and how to act when at it. As long as their are table manners there is going to be a fight ensued based on the level of disrespect that you have for yourself if you are ready and willing to be rude at the table. So respect, be grateful, and compliment an aweful aunties lunch item, becauses that what this Thanksgiving is also about. Table Manners! To be greatful, kind, and  courteous to others that are around you, but that doesn't mean that you gotta like the persons aweful food ! Just be thankful anyways, thats the big message.

Ratty Mc.Fatty

Ratty Mc.Fatty was as fat as could be,
He sat on a tree and snapped it in half
He sat on a mountain and crumbled it up,
He went to the beach and blocked out the sun,
He went in the water and went striaght down,
And Ratty Mc.Fatty had drowned.
For the water could not hold the weight that he had held,
And let Ratty Mc.Fatty drop all the way down.

A Thanks For Thanksgiving

What am I thankful for this Thanksgiving day? This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my family. Without my family I don't know where I would be today. Family is everything and Thanksgiving is a day that allows family to come together and enjoy a meal under the same roof. It allows you to be able to physically see the people who love and care for you right in front of your face. So for this Thanksgiving I'm going to do what I always do for Thanksgiving, be with the people I love and who love me, because they will always be there for me and I want to show them that I would gladly do the same.

Aviators and Auctions

Went to the Fischer Action in El Cajon this weekend, they were practically giving this stuff away. Bought myself a "lot"(sold in bulk quantity) of sunglasses for 35 bucks! I've already opened myself a Craigslist Account and am thinking about listing them tonight. Gotta make that money any way you can, and at the cost of 35 bucks for the whole lot of about 8 pairs of glasses, I'm looking forward to doubling my money with ease. If this works out, I'm going to get into this auction stuff, you know what they say, go big or go home, and I'm not the one for going home. Oh and if you want some doup sporting ware sunglasses, hit me up, I should have my Craigslist listings set up tonight.

Veterans Day

Tommorrow is Veterans Day, a day for peace and prosperity globally. Veterans Day is not just a day that we don't have to go to school, it is a commemoration of the soldiers that fought for what we as Americans stand for, and it's not just pertaining to one war, it's a collective of every war we have fought in and every effort we have made to keep the ideals of liberty and freedom alive. So on your day off, remember the soldiers who fought so that we don't have to, and so that we might have a chance in perserving our invaluable freedoms and liberties that we enjoy as Americans today.

Courage the Cowardly Dog

Why do they c all "Courage" a cowardly dog? He seems to be pretty courageous to me. A little pink dog with the moxy to push through any ordeal that faces him, and just to save the beloved master "Muriel." Though "Eustas" may call him a stupid dog he can sometimes show affection to him as well. The fact is Courage the cowardly dog is the bravest dog I've ever seen......

Kermit The Blog

Kermit the Blog here, blogging on the bog. This is my introduction a sort of prequil to my  blog induction. To further my story, I am a frog who likes to blog and I blog here in my bog, telling stories of things that pass me through the fogs.
